SALLE PAUL DOMINATE PODIUM AT ELITE EPEE
JUNIOR ELITE EPEE EVENT 6
Amazing job this weekend by our epeeists, smashing the competition to dominate the podium!
U12 Boys: All the boys made it through to the top 8, and were only eliminated when they had to face their clubmates en route to the semis! Casey Jones (5th) and Amani Campbell-Okolo clashed in this round, with Amani going on to face Sameer Sunder-Rajan in the semis. After a well fought fight Sameer fenced fellow club mate and number one seed Tristan Lumineau, who had won all his DE fights quite comfortably so far. A close match saw both boys give it their best with Tristan taking the gold medal!
U14 Girls: The girls got off to a strong start in poules, and carried the momentum through to make excellent results. Juliet (10th) had a hard match against first seed Millie Andrews, losing 15-13 in a close match where she pushed her opponent to her limits. Zoya Suresh (13th) was also unlucky with the draw, being pitted against her club mate Lauren Ryder-Garcia in the 16s. Eleanor Loo destroyed her opponents by huge margins on her way to her 5th place finish! In the semi final Lauren had a closely fought match with Rayhana Larbi to take home a bronze medal!
U17 Boys: Edward Scott-Payne bagged himself a bronze medal, smashing his opponent Terry Alexander (seeded one place above him after poules) 15-7 in the top 8!
Well done to our coach Sam Boyle who helped everyone to victory throughout the competition! Great job Sam!

Good job to everyone who attended the camp last week and a massive thank you to our coaches Tony, Keni and Sam for making a great camp including fitness, games, structured fencing, 1-2-1 lessons and even analysis of elite fencers, including a young fencer from back in the day called Jon Willis!
Hope you all had a great time and we look forward to seeing you at the next camp!
