OLIVER BECOMES TOP GB CADET
BRC CADET EPEE
This was a competition full of Leon Paul fencers, who made some excellent results! Ed Scott Payne won gold in the boys event after narrowly scraping through the Top 8 and semi-finals 15-14! There he had a slightly more comfortable win against Hal Jones, who he beat 15-11.
For the girls Isabella Summers led the charge, with a strong 5th place finish where she faced the eventual winner, Imogen Bulman in a close match that ended 15-13.
During Sunday's medals ceremony, we had special guest Greg Massialas, head coach of the USA Olympic foil team, who was more than happy to present medals to our exhausted yet happy fencers!
