Congratulations Rachael for winning the Leon Paul Women’s Epee Open
It was a tense final; 14-14 towards the end of the second period. A beat-fleche attack from Rachael secured the win over Crinan Potter of Chelsea.

SUSSEX OPEN
The Sussex Open was held in Burgess Hill this past weekend. Nine Salle Paul fencers made the trip down over the weekend to this friendly little Open.

WOMEN’S SPARRING PROJECT
Salle Paul epee fencers were joined last week by two international epee fencers from Croatia. Jana & Laura came to London as part of the clubs pilot programme to improve the quality of women's fencing within Salle Paul. They worked with the club coaches and fencers on a short 3 day training programme then stayed for the Women's Epee Open competition on Saturday.
Both girls really enjoyed their time in the UK and we are hoping they return for future projects at Salle Paul.
