Cadet BRC A Foil

Jessica Beechey won silver! Jessica won all of her poule fights, so had a bye thought the first round of DEs. In the DEs they won against Maria Pasciak, Yasmine Lang and Elizabeth Amore to reach the semi-finals. Jess won against Katie Johnson in the semi-final, but in the final was defeated by Gloriosa Sung, 15-14. Eliana Gilbert-Heitler won one poule fight, but she lost to Georgia Green in the first DE fight. 

Ashley Crees won Gold! Ashley won all of his poule fights, which gave him a bye to the L64. Ashley then defeated Freddie McLachlan, Moyo Adesanya, Ethan Li, and teammate Yaqub Wagdi to reach the semi-finals. There, he won against teammate Oskar Picton Tully before prevailing over Alexander James in the final. Harry Roberts won Bronze! He went 3V2D in the poules, so also had a bye. In the DEs, he won against teammate Alexander Kronabetter, Charles Stirling, Raphael Bertrand and Eizen Kwan to reach the semi-finals, where he lost to Alexander James. In the third-place play-off, his opponent, Oskar Picton-Tully medical withdrew. Oskar Picton-Tully only lost one poule fight, so had a bye. He then won against Hei Tristan Ching, Ralph Jenkins, Jagroop Shergill and Luca Florea. He reached the semi-final where he had to face Ashley Crees. Oskar lost this fight, and then had to withdraw from the bronze medal match. Yaqub Wagdi also only lost one poule fight so he also had a bye. Yaqub won against Wilfred Kent, Arthur O'Donnell and Magnus Bradbury, before losing to Ashley Crees in the L8. In the placing matches, Yaqub lost to Eizen Kwan, 15-14. Aiden Robinson went 4v2D in the poules, which gave him a bye. Aiden won against Jason Shi and Jeremy Chan before being defeated by Alexander James. Alexander Kronabetter went 3V3D in the poules. After having a bye, he lost to teammate Harry Roberts. Felix Berndorfer and Tudor Prutica both won two poule fights. They both had a bye into the L64. Here, Felix lost to Arthur O'Donnelll and Tudor lost to Ron Law. Benjamin Luis won one poule fight. After having a bye, he lost to Nathaniel Goff.

LPJS Academy Sabre

Emilie Chen won Gold! She won all of her poule fights, which gave her a bye into the semi-finals. Here she beat Florence Gibbs, and in the final she won against Eloise Geraerts.

Cadet BRC A Epee

Emma Mitzova won Bronze! She won all of her poule fights, which gave her a bye through the first round of DEs. Emma then won against Thea Tchalenko, Jessica Spolton and Eloise Russell. In the semi-final, she lost to Eilidh Paterson. In the fence-off for third, Emma won against Erika Hodkinson. Angélique Okonkwo went 3V3D in the poules. In the first round she won against Ella Iliffe, but was defeated by Emily Brunellisi in the L32. Xanthe Trim did not win a poule fight, but she won her first DE fight against Andrea Ross. In the next round Xanthe lost to Antonia Haynes. 

Solu Ngoka won bronze! After winning all of his poule fights, Solu had a bye. He then won against Arthur Bennett, Dylan Helme, and teammate Cyrus Lee to reach the semi-final. Here he lost to Charlie Lutyens-Humfrey. In the fence-off for third place, Solu defeated Ernesto Chiappini. Stanley Leech went 5V1D in the poule round, so he also had a bye. Stanley won against Oskar van Heerden and Lloyd Osborne before being defeated by Charlie Lutyens-Humfrey. When fencing for places, Stanley won against teammate Cyrus Lee and then teammate Jonathan Law. Jonathan Law went 3V2D in the poules. Jonathan then won against Dexter Mak, James Dunmall and Muaadh Alam. He lost in the L8 to Ernesto Chiappini. In the placing matches, he defeated Alfred Leech, and then lost to teammate Stanley. Cyrus Lee won all of his poule fights, which gave him a bye through the first round of DEs. Cyrus won against Alexander Yakovlev and Timeo Cerdan, but then lost to Solu Ngoka. In the placing matches, Cyrus lost to teammate Stanley, but then won against Alfred Leech. Oscar Casadio Robinson won two of his poule fights, so faced Imad Ahmed in the first round. He lost to Lloyd Osborne in the next round. In the placing matches, Oscar lost Oskar van Heedan. He then won against Zalan Zeno Farago, before losing to Lucas Farlam. In his final match, he defeated Vincenzo Formicone.

Leon Paul Junior Women’s Epee BRC

Kseniya Kushtan won Gold! After winning all of her poule fights over two rounds, Kseniya had a bye through ho the next round of DEs. She won against Eloise Russell, teammate Juliet Lumineau, and Chloe Johnson to reach the final. In the gold medal match, she won against Olivia Eadie to take first place.Emma Mitzova also won all of her poule fights across the two rounds of poules, so she also had a bye. She then won against Jessica Spolton before losing to Megan Upton in the L8. Juliet Lumineau went 4V4D across two rounds of poules. She won against Evie Davies and Katy Hawthorne, but was defeated by teammate Kseniya in the L8.

Budapest Junior Women’s Sabre World Cup

Melissa Jane and Keira Donnelly-Sallows took part in the team event as part of team GBR. They had a bye through the L32, then defeated Germany and France to make the semi finals. They lost their semi against Uzbekistan, but rallied in the third place match with a 45/36 win over Romania to take bronze.
