British Youth Championships 2023
A belated report of Salle Paul’s performance at the 2023 edition of the BYCs.
Salle Paul came back from the British Youth Championships with two new National Champions.
Yaqub Wagdi is the British U16 Boys Foil Champion and Beatrice Marra is the British U12 Girls Epee Champion. Congratulations to them and their coaches.
In total, Salle Paul had thirty-three fencers attend the BYCs, with some fencers having qualified in multiple weapons. We would love to give detailed for every fencers performance but the sheer number means that is not possible.
Well done to everyone who qualified and congratulations to Tudor, Alessio, Tristan, Zoya, and Arthur for their bronze medals.
Thanks to Oana, Sam, Roman, Tony, Richard, and Leo for supporting our fencers over all three days.
