Congratulations to all the winners of our various games during our Christmas Party, and a big thank you to all of your for attending! We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year! Thank you to Christmas Tree Man, Santa Claus and Santa's little brother Pete Claus for being our special guests!

Our Spartans earn their MiniSword badges and certificates! The little warriors have worked hard over the last few months to earn their Blue and Green levels, and were presented with the certificates on the last club night of the year ahead of our Christmas party.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

For the new season beginning January, Leon Paul Junior Series competitors should enter under the name Salle Paul as the club unifies it's name. Adult fencers will transfer in their new season in September.

Women's Epee: Amelia Dudley 83rd, Eleanor Taylor 126th

GUILDFORD INTERNATIONAL VETERAN’S EVENT

A huge congratulations to Sophie Saudo and Steve Fox for winning the Category 1 Women's Epee and Category 4 Men's Foil respectively! Steve fought Graham Paul in the final. Steve also placed 3rd in Men's Sabre.

Hugh Kernohan (Cat 3 ME) and Rubin Nash (Cat 1 MS) placed 3rd in the their events.

Denise Silk made a 10th place finish in Cat 2 WE and in Cat 2 ME Kola Ayanwale made the top 16.

These great results mean many of our veteran fencers are on track for European and World Veteran Championship selection!
