Say hello to Salle Paul's newest fencer, Ai! Here she is getting her first lesson with dad Keni. In a recent interview, Ai told us she is hoping to be sponsored by Leon Paul and qualify for Tokyo 2020.

EPEE JUNIOR WORLD CUP, BURGOS

Eleanor Taylor and Amelia Dudley were selected to compete at the World Cup in Spain, placing 171st and 190th.

Well done to the London team who came 2nd overall, only losing by four hits!

Big congratulations to Nicholas Grimshaw who won boy’s team epee at the Cadet Winton repressing the Northwest!

ALICE RUGGLES MEMORIAL OPEN

Well done to Idiris Ali, who won gold this weekend on his second gold in just as many weeks!

Well done also to George Dunmow (35th), Pete Eames (36th) and Jeremy Baker (43rd).

BRC CADET EPEE, CARDIFF

Great job by Isabella Summers who won gold at the Cardiff BRC and a great result by Henriette Hadalin who made the top 8 to finish 7th!

Girls: Hannah Lebor (12th), Juliet Lumineau (20th), Zoya Suresh (31st), Lauren Ryder-Garcia (33rd)

U12 OLIMPICI HUNGARY

Fantastic result for Sameer Sunder-Rajan who won the bronze medal in the U12 category! He met Olympic medallist Peter Somfai whose advice helped him on his path to the podium. He then went on to compete in the U13s, placing 28th out of 112 fencers.

AYA PASSES HER COACHING COURSE!

In other news, a huge congratulations to Aya Al-Mohsin, who recently passed her Introduction to Coaching Level 1 course! Aya started fencing at Salle Paul and regularly coaches the Spartans for the club so it's great to see her progress!
