CADET EPEE - COPENHAGEN EFC

Massive congratulations to Isabella Summers and Ed Scott Payne on their silver and bronze medals this weekend! Lauren Ryder-Garcia and Hannah Lebor also fenced well, placing 69th and 129th respectively.

Ed won four out of six poule fights, seeding him 53rd out of 181. From there Ed won many of his fights comfortably on his way to the podium, including smashing the 11th seed Chuzon (ESP) out of the competition 15-8.

Isabella had a tougher start, winning half of her poules bouts to place 61st. She then fought hard through a series of nail-biting matches, winning her semi-final 11-10. Isabella put up a strong fight in the final, with a score of 14-12 landing her a silver medal to take home!

Well done to all our fencers and a massive thank you to Keni for coaching them throughout the weekend!

CADET FOIL - CABRIES, FRANCE

Oliver Strange competed in the France this weekend, in a large competition of 233 fencers! Oliver won four out his six poule fights, and went on to place 55th in the final rankings. Well done Oliver!

Foil: Chris Crees represented Salle Paul in the men's foil, placing 24th.
