Gold, Silver and Bronze at LPJS London 2017

Posted on April 1, 2017

Great to see so many new young fencers from Salle Paul starting to compete for the first time at the LPJS London on 1st April 2017. 22 of our young fencers were competing across the age groups from U9 to U15 and Salle Paul came away with a Gold for Nathalie Culkin in the U11 Girls, a Silver in the U9 Girls for Eliana Gilbert-Heitler (pictured with coach Tony Conyard). It was Eliana’s first ever competition (aged 7) and she won against much older and more advanced fencers. The Bronze went to another novice competitor, young Yaqub Wagdi in the U9 Boys, who had previously competed only once before – great results for all of them.
